2023-08-17: Student assistant for teaching support in the course Representation and Analysis of Medical Data
The Division of Data Science in Biomedicine of PLRI is seeking a student assistant to provide teaching support in the course „Representation and Analysis of Medical Data“. In this course, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of molecular biology. They will be taught how molecular biology data is generated using a variety of laboratory methods. Emphasis is placed on the subsequent representation of these data and their statistical modeling, analysis, and interpretation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Support in the creation of teaching materials
• Correcting exercise sheets (according to example solutions)
• Editing the lecture script
We expect:
• Reliability
• Ability to work independently
• Availability based on mutual agreement
• Background knowledge in statistics and/or data science
• Background knowledge in molecular biology is advantageous but not necessary
• Having attended the course before is advantageous but not necessary

The workload can be set at 20 - 40 hours per month, depending on individual preference.
