Data Science Lab
General aim
The institute's Data Science Lab (located in building M2 in room 0.049) offers a total of six workstations, making it the ideal environment for working with large and complex data sets. The Data Science Lab is also ideally equipped for coordinated collaboration in small groups. This was made possible by funding from the MWK as part of the project Digitisation of teaching.
Focus of research
In addition to spacious furniture and lockable cupboards, the room offers a SmartScreen for interactive use and the following technical equipment:
- Samsung Flip Pro 85” (UHD-Display with touch function, display resolution of 3.840 x 2.160 Pixel, screen-mirroring-function, SmartView+ and Apple Airplay, various USB and HDMI connection on front- and backside, whiteboard-function and many more)
- ThinkPads X1 Carbon G10 (i5-Intel®Core, Windows 11 Pro, 16 GB of main memory, 512 GB SSD, 14”- display, illuminated keypad and many more)
- DELL 31,5“ LED monitor screens (with HDMI and Displayport connection, resolution 2560 x 1440 at 60 Hz)
