2023-01-09: Research Visit of Joana M. Warnecke at the University of Cambridge
Joana M. Warnecke was a Visiting Ph.D. student for almost one year at the University of Cambridge in the Department of Engineering and became an Honorary Member of the College Trinity Hall in Cambridge.
As part of her Ph.D. research, she developed a sensor system and fusion approaches for the continuous monitoring of vital signs (e.g., heart and respiratory rate) during driving, which allows the detection of cardiac and respiratory diseases at an early stage. During the research visit, she visited the lab “Signal Processing and Communication” and analyzed study data for respiration and heart rate detection during driving.
