The Smart Car research project was once again featured in a recent report by the radio station Radio 38. The project had already been covered by the broadcaster in 2024, making us all the more pleased that our work has now received renewed media attention and continued coverage.

The latest report once again focused on the question of how vehicles can use modern sensor technology and intelligent data analysis to provide insights into the health status of drivers. In a brief interview, Prof. Thomas M. Deserno outlined the research perspectives and explained the role that medical informatics and connected vehicle systems can play in preventive approaches to road safety.
