Exciting Excursion Day at the Fire Department: The Peter L. Reichertz Institute as a Guest

On March 3, 2025, the Peter L. Reichertz Institute for Medical Informatics, together with Mr. Schnur, visited the fire department control center in Braunschweig to gain a hands-on insight into the work of the fire department.

The excursion provided participants with a unique opportunity to experience modern rescue technologies, emergency response strategies, and the daily routines of firefighters up close.

Among the participants were Prof. Dr. Thomas Deserno, as well as our research associates Julian Bollmann, Paulo Haas, Masresha Tegegne, and Luca Sander.
