2025-12-15: Excursion to the Radiology Department at Braunschweig Municipal Hospital

As part of the lecture Introduction to Medical Informatics, students took part in an excursion to the Radiology Department at Braunschweig Municipal Hospital. The visit was accompanied by Prof. Thomas M. Deserno and provided practical insights into the clinical application of medical informatics.

On site, the students were welcomed and guided by Prof. Dr. Philipp Wiggermann, Head of the Institute of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, and Dr. rer. nat. Carolina Rio Bartulos, research associate and study coordinator at the hospital.
