2026-03-03: Best Paper Award bei der iEECON 2026

The paper “Movement Detection for Reliable Capacitive ECG Monitoring in Smart Home Armchairs” by Diana Baumgärtel, Dr. Joana M. Warnecke, Julian Bollmann, and Prof. Dr. Thomas M. Deserno was awarded the Best Paper Award in the Digital Signal Processing track at the International Electrical Engineering Congress 2026 (iEECON2026) in Pattaya, Thailand.

The work was recognized for its technical depth, novelty, and significant contribution to the field of electrical and computer engineering.

The award ceremony took place on 5 March 2026 during the conference banquet.
